We Believe...
1. The Holy Bible is the revealed word of God and as such is infallible. The contents of this Word are God’s revelation to man on living by faith and proper conduct. (2 Tim 3:15-17; I Thess 2:13: & 2 Peter 1:21)
2. The Godhead (also known as the Trinity) is a three-part eternal Person. God exists as the perfect love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and collectively these possess divine perfection. (Matt 3:16; Matt 28:19; John 14:26, John 17:21; 2 Cor 13:14; & Eph 4:4-6)
3. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He died an atoning death and rose again to reconcile all men to God and to free them from the power of sin and the devil. He will return for the church in rapture and all who reject Him will suffer eternal destruction. (Matt 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; John 1:10-14; Rom 5:8-10; Rom 6:6; 2 Thess 1:8-9; 2 Tim 2:2; I John 1:7 & I John 4:2-3.
4. Man was created in the image and likeness of God but through voluntary disobedience fell from perfection. Since all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, they need to have a saving relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ. Only Jesus saves! (Gen 1:26-27; Gen 3:6; Acts 2:38-39; Rom 3:23; Rom 5:17-18; & I John 1:8)
5. The Holy Spirit draws all men to God for salvation. The Holy Spirit indwells men at the time they receive their salvation and convicts them to lead holy lives. Besides this indwelling presence of the Spirit there is also the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which results in the speaking of tongues and makes men more powerful witnesses for Christ. (John 14:6; John 14:26; John 20:22; Acts 2:38:39)
6. The Holy Spirit gives special spiritual gifts to all those who ask. These gifts are for the encouragement of all believers and the building up and prospering of the body of Christ. (I Cor 12: 1-11; Eph 4:30-32; Gal 5:16-18 & Gal 5: 22-23)
7. Guaranteed Resurrection of the dead. There will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost…the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting damnation. Jesus is the only way to life! (John 5:29; John 11;25: Rom 6:23: & I Peter 1:3)
