Children's Ministries...is under the leadership
of Ben King. Ben, together with parents, are laying a spiritual
foundation for children to build their lives on. There is no greater
investment than investing in the life of a child. We are committed
to showing Jesus' love to children in a safe, fun, and caring
environment. We consider it a privilege to minister to your
children. We take this responsibility seriously and we want you to
know that your child is in safe and capable hands.
Alien Youth
Ministry (see the AY web page)... meets each Sunday at 6:30
pm with leaders Josh and Breanna Nichols. Our “Alien Youth” hopes to
take the love of Christ to the youth of this community .
Sight & Sound Ministry...has a strong desire
to develop a ministry that will glorify the Lord through sight and
sound. Each week we have an audio clip of the morning sermon
available on our web site: ccfalamo.org.
Worship Arts Ministry...has a vision to lead the
congregation into the presence of the Lord with thanksgiving, praise
and worship. Under the direction of Carla Thompson it is our desire
to use all creative expressions as vessels that convey the passion
and desire of this body for our Lord Jesus.
Visitation Ministries...is under the compassionate
direction of Dick Rahn. It is our direct contact to the sick and
homebound.
Prayer Ministry ... Adelin Schauer coordinates the
prayer teams who minister during the service on Sunday morning.
Betty Rahn coordinates our prayer chain. We gather in the office on
Sunday mornings at 7:00 am and on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 pm.
Prayer lists are distributed on Wednesday evenings. If you have a
need you wish listed, jot it on a Fellowship Card—or just call or
e-mail the church office.
W.O.W. – Women of Worth is a vital ministry at
Cottonwood. It features several events that address the needs of
women in every season of life. WOW recognizes those special needs
and seeks to draw women deeper in their walk with Christ. Evening
and morning bible studies are offered throughout the year. Reaching out to the community is important to us. We do so
through ministries such as Heart to Hearth and an annual city-wide
conference. This ministry is composed of many women who volunteer
their time in service and is under the leadership of Carla Thompson.
Check the Branch or calendar for upcoming events.
Christian Education...is under the direction of
Jaye Ann Smith, a former high school and college teacher. We offer
fun, age appropriate bible instruction from toddlers through high
school. Adult classes are designed to lead believers to spiritual
maturity through the study and application of God's word.
